When setting the cutting seam, the displacement capacity of the sealant must be fully considered. When waterproofing the cutting seam, the invalid caulking material, floating ash and debris in the seam should be removed, the backing material should be set after the seam wall is dry, and the sealing glue should be embedded. The sealant and the seam wall should be tightly sealed.

When using polyurethane sealant as the sealing material for the cutting seam, the general seam width setting in the southern region is not less than 8mm. Because the polyurethane sealant with low modulus has good elasticity and strong displacement ability, it can better expand and contract with the temperature difference of the cutting seam. Therefore, the polyurethane sealant with lower modulus should be used as the sealing material for the cutting seam.
